Career profiles, careers information and advice for both young people and adults is available from the Next Step service. Young people wanting additional information or advice can still make direct contact with an adviser to discuss careers, work and learning.
The Directgov website provides a link to all these helpline channels which can be accessed via email, webchat, and telephone.
Support is available from trained advisers who will talk through issues, offering confidential advice and practical help. So that young people can to talk to an adviser at a time that suits them, advisers are available from 8.00am to 10pm, seven days a week, telephone 0800 100 900, or for text messages on 0776 641 3219.
