The information on this page is being provided as part of the Government’s agenda to improve transparency about how it spends public money. The information is a series of organograms that provide a pictorial representation of the Department’s organisation and the costs associated with each of its directorates.

The organograms and supporting datasets will be refreshed and re-published twice each year to reflect the most recent position.

The latest files represent the organisation of the Department as of 30 September 2011 and comprise the following:

  • Senior Data (CSV format) - provides a job description for each of the senior posts in the Department and details of who they report to, and provides information on the remuneration associated with the Department’s senior posts.
  • Junior Data (CSV format) - provides the number of full-time equivalent junior staff reporting to each senior post, as well as the payscales for each grade.
  • A machine readable file (RDF format) for visualisation of the data

A series of organograms that provide a pictorial representation of the Department’s organisation and the costs associated with each of its directorates is published centrally on the data.gov site.
