When the project is nearing completion, it is all too easy to run out of steam.
Wrapping it up make sure that:
the customer is content that all elements of the work are satisfactorily delivered, and has signed off the Project Closure report
the mechanisms for the longer term evaluation of the work are in place and that you've set up a mechanism for handling feedback. This should be defined in the terms of reference of your Post Implementation Review
any work to be carried on in an operational environment is well defined, has a clearly defined 'owner' and all Residual Issues are wrapped up ready for hand over.
