The Government response to the Select Committee report on looked after children has now been published. Improving the lives of children in care and strengthening the adoption system are priorities for the Government. The response sets out the Government's vision for looked after children, as well as highlighting what has already been done.
The Government is committed to improving all aspects of the lives of children in care, including placement stability, education, health, the daily experience of being in care and the successful transition to adulthood.
