I am writing to let you know that my first report, The Munro Review of Child Protection - Part One: A Systems Analysis has been published today.
I would particularly like to thank those from local authorities who have made such valuable contributions to the review, either by submitting evidence or meeting with myself and the review team. Your evidence has been extremely useful in helping me consider the key issues we need to address and take forward to improve our child protection system.
There are questions and observations throughout this initial report that I hope will stimulate local professional discussion as well as national debate. The review will engage in regular feedback and discussion events, in which I hope many of you and your colleagues will be involved.
