Parent-Child Relationship Enhancement Approach (PCREA)

The Parent-Child Relationship Enhancement Approach (PCREA) – also known as Filial Parent-Child Interaction Therapy – is for parents of children between the ages of three and 12, with emotional and behavioural difficulties. Parents attend up to 20 weekly individual sessions where they learn methods for strengthening the parent-child relationship through therapeutic play.

PCREA has preliminary evidence of improving children’s behaviour and improving the parent-child relationship.
