The Safer Recruitment e-learning site has been decommissioned.


The requirement remains that at least one member of a school recruitment panel must undertake appropriate safer recruitment training. However, from September 2014 this training does not have to be approved by the Secretary of State. Responsibility for choosing appropriate training rests with schools and to assist them in doing so, schools may wish to take advice from their LSCB.
