The Information Standards Board (ISB) for Education, Skills and Children’s Services (ESCS) is the overarching authority and governing body for the management and assurance of data and information standards across the ESCS system.

Approved ISB standards ensure that data and information is stored and transferred in common, consistent formats which aids front line delivery, reduces bureaucracy and enables a more joined up service.
