This Business Data Standard (BDS) has been designed to satisfy all Education Skills and Children’s Services (ESCS) business needs to exchange information about the locator.
It describes data that un-ambiguously locates an entity. This location can be physical in the case of an address or geographic location, or virtual, such as a URL, telephone number or email address.
This is version 2.0, it replaces v1.0 of the standard.
This BDS is intended for use by, for example, ICT procurers, system developers, programmers, data modellers and statisticians.
