This Business Data Standard (BDS) has been designed to satisfy all Education Skills and Children’s Services (ESCS) business needs to exchange information about premises.
It describes premises that are involved in the ESCS. Premises are physical buildings or facilities that are used by parties ranging from an entire campus, down to an individual classroom. A premises unit may be a whole building or any segmentation of the whole unit, such as floor or room, that is used by a party.
The premise units are grouped together in a hierarchical structure to show which premises are part of larger units, etc.
This is version 2.0, it replaces v1.0 of the standard.
This BDS is intended for use by, for example, ICT procurers, system developers, programmers, data modellers and statisticians.
