Premier Plus – the enhanced service from the Teaching Agency
If you’re looking to start your training in a shortage subject in the academic year 2012/13 and have or are predicted at least a 2:2 degree, then you can take advantage of Premier Plus – our new enhanced service. Sign up with us and in addition to the above benefits you’ll receive:
- personalised one-to-one advice and guidance from a named adviser
- access to our new School Experience Programme (SEP), so you can sample life inside a modern secondary school before you apply
- invitations to exclusive events
- regular communications from us with important news, application hints and tips, and updates on funding
- access to courses which allow you to top up your subject knowledge before beginning your training (your chosen training provider will let you know if you are eligible)

Remember that vacancies on teacher training courses fill up fast, so apply early to ensure you are considered by the training provider of your choice.
As part of our Premier Plus service, if you apply for a 2012 teacher training course in secondary maths, physics, chemistry or modern foreign languages (MFL) through the Graduate Teacher Training Registry (GTTR), the Teaching Agency will reimburse the usual £19 application fee. To receive the reimbursement you must have a valid Teaching Agency registration number when you complete your GTTR application. If you don't have one yet, sign up with the Teaching Agency now.
