If you don't already hold a degree qualification, there are many approved BA (Hons) Social Work courses to choose from. These are offered by institutions throughout England. The majority are three-year full-time courses, although there are some longer part-time courses.
Both the three year undergraduate degree and the two year postgraduate degree in social work cover the same subjects, and involve a minimum of 200 days of practical work.
