The Department is rationalising the number of websites it owns, and migrating content onto this site. All required content from Teachernet, Governornet and the Standards Site has been migrated onto this site. Redirects have been put in place to help you find the appropriate sections of content. These sites have been archived onto the Government Web Archive, based at the National Archives.
All required content from Teachernet, Governornet and the Standards site can now be found in the schools section of the Department’s website.
Archived copies of the following sites are freely available via The National Archives.

Other Department for Education websites will be migrated in the coming months.
Closure of ALB sites
In a move to improve the transparency, accountability and efficiency of the education system, the Department has replaced several of its arm's length bodies (ALBs) with four in-house executive agencies.
