Apply for NPQH in the Middle East or South East Asia
The application round for the pilot international National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) is currently closed. The next application round will open at 10am on 23 May and will close at 1pm on 9 July 2013.
NPQH is open to all British International Schools
Costs
- £5,950 per person.
- The programme can be paid for in instalments as follows.
- Initial online application: no charge.
- One-day gateway assessment centre: £750, payment due October 2013.
- NPQH development stage: two instalments of £2,225, the first payment due January 2014, the second due in June 2014.
- Graduation and final assessment fee: £750, payment due January 2015.
Please note a small administrative charge may have to be made depending on where candidates undertake their school placement.
Timeline

| November 2013 | One-day gateway assessment centre to be held at a venue in the region (to be confirmed). |
| January–December 2014 | Upon successful completion of the gateway assessment, trainees are invited to complete the full NPQH programme. Two, three-day face-to-face workshops will be scheduled during this time at a location in the region (to be confirmed). There will also be opportunities for online study and online coaching and mentoring. During this time trainees will also undertake a six to nine-day in-school placement, either within their own region or in the UK. |

Application process
- If you haven't already done so register with the National College (if you're not already a member please use discount code NPQH2013 during the registration process).
- Complete the online registration for NPQH.
- Download the application form.
- Complete your part of the application form.
- Email your completed application form to your sponsor. Before your application can be submitted, your sponsor must verify your application by completing the relevant sections. Find out more about what your sponsor is required to do.
