A replacement certificate is only available in exceptional circumstances. Details of what circumstances are termed as exceptional can be confirmed by the relevant awarding body. If your original certificates have been lost or mislaid then you cannot claim a replacement. You must apply for a certifying statement of results from the appropriate awarding body.

The certifying statement of results is an official document which can be used in the same way as a certificate. It is universally acknowledged as proof of the examination results which a candidate has attained and can be used in place of the original certificate.
