DfE: GCSE and Equivalent Attainment by Pupil Characteristics in England

Tables showing attainment by area of pupil residence and attainment by area of school location were added on 7 March 2012, alongside the underlying data for all tables in this SFR. We will be publishing the breakdown by school type as part of a research briefing in the next few weeks.

This Statistical First Release (SFR) provides 2010/11 information on attainment for GCSE and equivalent results by different pupil characteristics - specifically gender, ethnicity, eligibility for free school meals (FSM), special educational needs (SEN) and English as a first language.
