Mapping Children and Young People's Participation in England Research Information
| Description | The National Youth Agency (NYA) and the British Youth Council (BYC) surveyed statutory and voluntary sector organisations in England between November 2003 and January 2004, in order to establish a systematic picture of the levels and ways in which they involve children and young people up to 19 in public decision-making. Public decision-making was defined as children and young peoples involvement in decisions about policies and services which may affect them but which are not specific to them as individuals. | |
