Participation In Education and Training of Young People Aged 16 and 17 in Each Local Area and Region, England, 1995/96 to 1999/00

Description	This Statistical Bulletin updates 11/2000, providing information on participation in education by young people aged 16 and 17 by LEA. It also contains data on participation in education and training by local Learning and Skills Council (local LSC). Revised Excel tables are available above including LSC Tees Valley and North East region GST figures, as well as revised England totals. GST figures were not originally published for these areas because they revealed an unusually large rise. They have now been checked with data providers. Tables 3 and 6 have not changed. The next bulletin, containing participation estimates for end 2000, is due to be published in December 2002.
