Further Education, Work-based Learning for Young People and Adult and Community Learning - Learner Numbers in England: 2003/2004 [Prepared and published by the Learning and Skills Council in consultation with DfES statisticians]
| Description | This Statistical First Release updates figures in ILR/SFR03 published 31 March 2004, which showed learner numbers in LSC funded Further Education (FE) and in Work Based Learning for Young People (WBLYP) at 1 November 2003, with figures for the whole 2003/04 academic year. It will show learners in FE and WBLYP by age (16-18, 19 and over), gender, area of learning, ethnicity and level. For WBLYP, the SFR will give breakdowns by programme of study and will also show the number of starts. For the first time, the publication will also include data on learner numbers in LSC funded Adult and Community Learning (ACL).
