| Description | Statistics on Pupils with Special Educational Needs are published as Pupils with Special Educational Needs in England, January 2008 and include data from England for January 2008. These figures update and supplement provisional information published on 29 April in SFR09/2008. Information is mainly drawn from two sources: the School Census and the SEN2 survey. The SFR provides information on the incidence and placement of pupils with SEN together with analyses on the characteristics of pupils by their stage of SEN.
