DfE: Percentage of Pupils Making Expected Progress in English and Mathematics between Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 4 in England: 2007/08 - 2009/10

DescriptionThis Statistical First Release provides a time series of the proportion of pupils making expected progress in English and in mathematics between Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 4.

This Statistical First Release updates national and Local Authority data published in SFR 05/2010. It includes progression data for pupils completing KS4 in 2010 and is based on a slightly revised methodology. Data previously published for 2007/08 and 2008/09 will be updated based on the new methodology and published in this SFR.

A revision has been made to tables 3, 4 and 5 in the excel spreadsheet and in the pdf format on 20 June 2011 to correct errors that were present in the figures for the London regional sub-totals for columns relating to 2008. The grand totals across all regions were erroneously duplicated in these cells.
