DfE: School Capacity 2009/10
| Description | Provisional early findings from the School Capacity 2010 collection have been published today. The Statistical Release (SR) is based on information collected from local authorities as part of the School Capacity 2010 collection. It includes national level information for maintained primary and secondary schools ie on the number of school places, the number of schools exceeding school capacity (and the number of pupils within these schools) and the number of surplus places. These early findings are being released now because some planning analysis is now publicly available and this release will ensure all users are aware of and have access to the latest key figures. Final figures, including local authority level data, were due to be released in December. However because final data will be available earlier than expected, these figures will now be published in November. | ||
