On 3 November, the Secretary of State for Education confirmed:
- details of the additional £500 million made available, this year, to local authorities experiencing the greatest need in managing shortfalls in pupil places.
- the launch of a consultation on school premises regulations; and
- his final decision on the schools that are subject to the BSF Judicial Review proceedings.
