Threshold assessment 2001: Round 2

Qualified teachers in England and Wales were eligible in 2001 if they:

were legally covered by the School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Document (STPCD)
were paid on the Qualified Teachers pay scale for classroom teachers
on or after 1 September 2000, but before 31 July 2001, were placed on point 9 of the pay scale for classroom teachers as defined by qualifications and the number of experience points
met the above conditions on the date of application.

Successful applicants moved to the first point of the upper pay scale backdated to 1 September 2001, a consolidated pay increase of £2,076.
