We are moving to GOV.UK and the DfE website will be closing down soon. More information.
There is a statutory responsibility for schools selected to administer the science sampling tests. The 2012 Science sampling arrangements (SSA) document is available in the associated resources on this page and describes what this responsibility means.
All schools selected to administer the 2012 Key Stage 2 science sampling tests will receive a copy of the science sampling Test administrators’ guide (SSTAG). This guide is available in the associated resources on this page, and should be read by anyone who is involved in administering these tests or the modified science sampling tests. It contains important guidance on how to administer the tests and what to do if things do not go according to plan. It should be taken into each room where the science sampling tests will be administered.
Information about what access arrangements are available for science sampling tests and how to access them can be found in section 5 of the 2012 Key Stage 2 Assessment and reporting arrangements (ARA). This document was sent to schools in November 2011 and is available in the associated resources on this page.
