Preparing for the tests

The information in this section will be useful for headteachers, teachers and local authorities involved in administering the Key Stage 2 tests. It should be used alongside the information published in the 2013 Test administrators’ guide and 2013 Key Stage 2 Assessment and reporting arrangements.

You should also refer to the Access arrangements section of the website. This includes information on administering the tests to children that require specific arrangements, for example a reader in the English grammar, punctuation and spelling test.
