This website provides information on who the schools adjudicators are, the types of decisions they make, and the process for that. We will also publish in the decisions section, a copy of every decision schools adjudicators make regardless of the outcome.

Please note
School admissions: Schools adjudicators do not deal with complaints from any parent whose child has not been offered a place at a particular school. Please go to the guidance for parents provided on the Directgov and Local Ombudsman websites, accessed via the links on the right-hand side of this page.

National Offer Day: This office cannot deal with any aspect of this process. If you have any enquiries you need to contact your Local Authority. Their contact details can be obtained via the link on the right-hand side of this page.

The children’s legal centre can also provide guidance and support to parents. A link to their website can be found on the right-hand side of this page.

The OSA Annual Report for 2013 was published on 29 November.

If you are unable to find a determination you are looking for, please contact the office on 01325 735303, or by email osa.team@osa.gsi.gov.uk, or by post - Office of the Schools Adjudicator, Mowden Hall, Staindrop Road, Darlington DL3 9BG.
