Dame Clare ran a call for evidence between July and September 2010 which generated over 3300 responses.
The call for evidence focused on the four areas that the Department set out in Clare’s terms of reference for the review (scope, learning and development, assessment and welfare), as well as asking people for their views on the principles and high level objectives of the EYFS. It also included questions for parents, asking for their views on Early Years provision.
