Raising Standards in Post-16 Learning: Building Practitioner Skills and Qualifications in Work-based Learning funded by Learning and Skills Council and Employment Service

The consultation document seeks views on the appropriate levels of qualifications for people who deliver work-based learning, in order to raise standards in Post-16 provision. The document takes forward the commitment in the "Learning to Succeed" White Paper to develop a range of qualifications for all Post-16 teaching and training staff. It proposes a framework of skills and qualifications for practitioners in work-based learning. It sits alongside proposals for FE teachers which were published in February.
